Passeggeri Savona

Costa Crociere, the Mediterranean’s largest cruise company, manages the Palacrociere passenger terminal in the port of Savona. Inaugurated in 2003, the terminal provides cruise passengers with high-quality services, converting the traditional waiting rooms into real entertainment areas that have been personalised for all age groups.

Terminal amenities include a Children’s Club, Internet Cafe, conference room, VIP lunge and coffee shop with food counter. The check in/out facilities are specially designed to reduce waiting time to an absolute minimum, while passenger security and safety are ensured through high technology systems.

With more than 761,000 passengers transiting in 2007, the terminal, thanks to the construction of a third berth and the expansion of reception facilities, is expected to handle around one million passengers per year.

Easy to reach from the airports of Genoa and Nice, the Palacrociere is located in front of the city’s medieval centre, which can be reached on foot in a few minutes, crossing the enchanting “Vecchia Darsena” marina on the characteristic blue bridge.

In Vado, Forship (Corsica Ferries) manages a ferry terminal for trips to Corsica. Equipped with a modern maritime station and with four berths, it runs four daily trips during the high season. The terminal extends over an area of more than 50,000 sqm. Easy to reach directly from the motorway, it also provides a courtesy shuttle service to and from the railway station.
