Terminal Savona


BuT

The terminal, located on the Darsena Alti Fondali in the port of Savona, manages two warehouses, one  specialised in the handling of bulk cargo (fertilizers, ferroalloys, soda ash and others), the other dedicated to general cargo (Coffee and soft commodities). Besides loading and unloading operations, additional services are also available: big-bag packaging, palletization, screening and cradling. The terminal has been granted the status of VAT and type "C" customs bonded warehouse.


Buzzi Unicem

Buzzi Unicem is an international Group focused on the production of cement, concrete, building materials and similar products. The terminal in the port of Savona is equipped for unloading, loading and storage of bulk powdered raw materials.


Colacem

The terminal manages cereal and cement loading, unloading and storage operations. Located at the entrance of the port of Savona (Boselli quay), the company’s silos can store up bulk grains, oilseeds and by-products and cement.


Depositi Costieri Savona

The terminal specialises in unloading and storage of vegetable liquid bulk, liquid foodstuff and wine, and is equipped with a battery of 27 silos, for a total capacity of 20,000 m3.


Monfer

Monfer is a leading company in the field of grains, oilseeds and other wholesale products. The Savona port terminal is equipped with a high capacity bagging system for all agribulk products. Cape-size ships have already been serviced thanks to the high draft berths.


Must

MUST (Multi Use Steel Terminal), based on the Boselli quay in the port of Savona, handles added value finished and semi-finished steel products, such as hot/cold rolled prods, galvanized, pre-varnished coils, slabs, blooms, billets and plates, but also bulk ferrous cargoes, pig iron and scrap.


Savona Terminal Auto

The company operates a Ro-Ro terminal with a storage capacity of up to 4,000/5,000 vehicles, corresponding to an yearly potential of 120,000 vehicles.
The company carries out the complete port operation cycle: from reception to loading and unloading. The terminal offers vehicle horizontal handling, storage by lot and destination, computerised information processing and temporary storage in bonded area.


Savona Terminals

Savona Terminals specialises in the handling/warehousing of forest products, clean, black, dusty bulk commodities and general cargo. The company can rely on very modern equipment for the vertical and horizontal movement of cargo in operating area in the port of Savona.

Savona Terminals operates a deep berth where 15-m-draft ships can be accommodated, that is a distinctive feature in the Mediterranean.

Societa’ Funiviaria Alto Tirreno

The dry bulk terminal has been operating since 1912 at the Miramare Pier, where ships carrying up to 35,000 t of cargo can berth. The terminal is connected to a cableway (with a transport capacity of 9,000 t/day) which conveys the cargo to the 25 ha storage yards in San Giuseppe di Cairo (sheltered yards with bulk crushing and sifting system). From San Giuseppe trucks or trains forward the goods to the industries in the hinterland.

In 2009 a new terminal on the Darsena Alti Fondali will be operating. The new facility, the most modern of the Mediterranean Sea, will grant a qualitative leap to the whole logistic system.

Costa Crociere

The Palacrociere, the passenger terminal at Calata delle Vele in the port of Savona, opened for business in November 2003. The Palacrociere has been realised in partnership by the Port Authority and Costa Crociere, who directly manages the terminal, with a concession until 2023.

Conceived by the Catalan architect Ricardo Bofill, the Palacrociere is specially designed and built to provide hospitality for cruise Guests, guaranteeing high quality services. Thanks to the innovative architecture of the terminal waiting time is reduced to a minimum, combining the utmost comfort with maximum security.
