Terminals - Vado L.

Reefer Terminal has been operating in the port of Vado Ligure since 1982, when it obtained the concession of a quay, thus anticipating the Italian port reform law of 1994.
Thanks to the continuous investments in the improvement of the facilities and equipment, Reefer Terminal is today the Mediterranean leader in the fruit sector (500,000 tons/year), distributing fresh produce from Vado throughout Southern Europe.
Reefer Terminal also manages the Vado container terminal, which in a few years has reached 242,000 Teu (2007), with a 300,000 Teu forecast for 2008, thanks to the acquisition of new shipping services.

Forship

Forship, the leading ferry company to Corsica, operates a dedicated passenger, vehicle and truck terminal in the port of Vado Ligure,  with up to 3 departures per day to the French isle.

Terminal Rinfuse Italia

The Babcock & Brown Infrastructure Group, one of the world leading operators as far as dry bulk is concerned, recently acquired the control of Terminal Rinfuse Italia, the main bulk terminal operator in Italy, controlling the terminals operating in the port of Vado Ligure, Genoa and Venezia, which handle a total of 8.5 million t of bulk products every year. The Vado terminal supply the customers with additional high added value services, such as product loading, unloading, handling, screening, storage, reloading and redelivery of solid bulk, grains, oilseeds and by-products.

VIO

From 1999 in vado Ligure (Savona) is operating an integrated logistic platform for the warehousing and the distribution of goods by sea and by land.
Interporto di Vado Ligure has an area of 145.000 sq. m. with 2.000 sq. m. office and 54.000 warehouses of which 3.000 sa. m. are refrigerated warehouses and 18.000 sq. m. are dedicated to specialised services for the operation and distribution of perishable good.
Thanks to this facility, Savona Vado has become the Italian leader in coffee traffic, handling 22% of Italian imports.

ERG
ERG Petroli, terminal operator in the port of Vado Ligure, receives and distributes diesel oil for the provinces of Savona, Imperia and Cuneo. It also produces lubricating oils and distributes them throughout Italy and abroad, on behalf both of ERG Petroli and third parties.
Complying with the quality standard ISO 2001, the coastal depot has been certified since 1996 and has recently cerned the Certificate of Excellence by meeting the requirements of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards for safety and environment management.
The oil products are disembarked thanks to a 454 m – far off-shore pier directly connected to the coastal deport.

Esso Italiana

Esso Italiana manages products unloading in Vado Ligure, storage and distributions of lubricants oil through a jetty linked directly with four pipelines to the on-shore plant, allowed to stock, produce and distribute finished lubricants. 

Petrolig

The company manages a coastal depot in the harbour of Vado Ligure. The terminal is equipped to receive petrol and gas oil and to ship out virgin diesel oil. Third-party tanker trucks supply AGIP, IP, ESSO, TAMOIL, Q8, TOTAL, FINA sales outlets with diesel oil, petrol, BTZ, ATZ, diesel-oil for farm machine and fishing boats. Finally, thanks to a direct pipeline,  the terminal supplie the Tirreno Power power plant in Vado with fuel oil.

Sarpom

The Sarpom terminal operates a buoy field equipped to receive ships with a storage capacity from 50,000 to 316,000 t. The terminal is located around 0.7 miles from the coast and it is able to receive crude oil by tankers with an unloading capacity of 13,000 m³/h.
The oil is conveyed to 7 on-shore tanks, with an overall capacity of 360,000 m³, and then, through a 146 Km 20” oil pipeline, it reaches the Trecate refinery.
Over 7 million t of crude oil are handled each year from a total of 80 ships coming from various loading harbours.
